I'm excited to set up this website to share paintings I've worked on over the past several years. In 2012, I've displayed pieces in two shows in the Seattle area. My plan is to update the website as I complete new paintings and to blog about my own process as well as art events in the area. I hope you will join me by contributing your thoughts and feedback.
I have found Denise Cole, owner of Cole Gallery in Edmonds to be a fantastic teacher. She nurtures each artist to create his/her own best work in a supportive atmosphere. I can't say enough good about Denise. She is a great artist and a wonderful teacher - qualities that don't always go together. If you're an aspiring artist or have studied for years, I highly recommend these classes. I drive from Bellevue to Edmonds to participate whenever possible.
Denise also provides classes at her gallery taught by other great teachers, such as Joe MacKechnie and Bev Jozwiak and I have found them to be beneficial also.
